Tell us about yourself and the sport you compete in..

I play rugby for the Ospreys and Wales and also toured South Africa with the Lions in the Summer. Rugby is a physical but strategic game. I myself am not too physical but enjoy the attaking aspects of the game!

How did you become involved in your sport?

Primary school had a team and I found that I was naturally quite good at the sport. The rest as they say is history.

What does your weekly training programme consist of?

• 8x Rugby sessions
• 2x speed sessions
• 3x weight sessions
• Video analysis
• 4x Unit sessions

How do Maximuscle products help you during your training and whilst you compete?

Maximuscle products help me improve my strength and endurance and also play a vital role in my recovery after matches and training sessions. Recovery is important for any athlete but for rugby players it is crucial.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?

Being selected for the British and Irish Lions for the tours to New Zealand and South Africa.

Who are your heroes?

Gerald Davies and Alan Shearer.

What do you enjoy doing on your days off?

Due to all the training I do I actually like to do very little on my days off. It’s my chill out time.

How do you stay relaxed and focused when the pressure is on?

Inner Peace!!

What is your favorite Maximuscle product and why?

Creatamax Extreme. I have found this has affected me most positively.

Do you have any future goals?

To finish my rugby career on a high and then become a successful business man.
