Maximuscle products receive 'What Mountain Bike' Magazine's seal of approval
Viper and Viper Extreme Drink both received the What Mountain Bike Magazine's seal of approval in November's 04 issue being given their Gold Award (awarded to kit that receives a combined performance and value score of 18 out of 20 or higher) and their overall editor's choice award (their pick of the punch and simply the best on test regardless of cost) in their Energy Foods Group Test, P.94-101.
A selection of other Maximuscle products were tested and all given 9 out of 10 for performance, with WMB's verdict's on the following products being; Viper Extreme Bar an "Eye poppingly effective last lap boost bar", the Promax Meal bar "packs in three times more protein than most and is genuinely yummy too, a solid muscle building/recovery bar" and on Recovermax "highly effective and easily drunk too" .
WMB's overall verdict on energy drinks was "there's no doubt that Viper is now our bevy of choice for gruelling endurance events" and on Recovery drinks talking about Recovermax, "Maximuscle hit the spot and stayed there making it our clear recovery chug champion"
