It was a disappointing loss to South Africa and it’s always even more disappointing when controversy is involved.

I am gutted for Wales. Despite being an Englishman, Sunday’s match illustrated the fine margins between winning and losing in international rugby. All it takes is a gust of air in the wrong direction.
Every English bloke I have spoken to has said the ball didn’t go over, whilst every Welshman said it did. Pure and simple, if you’ve got the technology then you should be using it, although it’s easy to say when you’re not in the heat of the moment.
In a tournament like this it’s not all about performance. It’s about winning, nothing else matters.
Wales need to move on. The internet fan can debate about the details for as long as they like, but the team will want to get out on the training field and look forward. Playing at a Rugby World Cup is no time to sulk, especially only after week one.
Next up for Wales is another massive encounter with Samoa. The Samoans recently won in Australia, and like the Springboks will bring immense mobile abrasive power. Wales will need to replicate the same performance levels they showed against South Africa to avoid a potential tournament-ending defeat.
David’s prediction vs. Samoa -
Wales 32 - 12 Samoa
